Thirty years ago, during the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, choreographer Philippe Decouflé dazzled the world with a spectacular opening ceremony.
A key element of this artistic achievement was a revolutionary acrobatic cable developed in collaboration with Eurosandow.
To test this innovative product, acrobats brought their equipment to our company’s car park, giving our employees a unique opportunity to witness the testing firsthand.
The challenge was to design a cable with elasticity far beyond standard levels, ensuring a linear elongation without the risk of breakage.
Today, we continue to supply this cable for various applications, including to the prestigious Cirque du Soleil, thus carrying forward the legacy of this innovation.
Bungee cords and nets for two-wheeled vehicle
Eurosandow manufactures bicycle bungee cords, used by self-service bike systems like Vélib.
We also supply classic motorcycle straps and bungees, ideal for securing luggage on racks.
Additionally, we produce handlebar slings for motorcycles, ensuring secure locking during transport on trailers.
Our nets are perfect for securing luggage or helmets on motorcycle or scooter seats. For mechanical needs, we have provided straps for securing motorcycle batteries.

Eurosandow works closely with manufacturers of weight training equipment, developing traction and pulling straps for bodybuilding.
Our laces equip several brands of snowshoes, and our elastic equipment is used by physiotherapists.
Our elastic bungee cords are found in various leisure equipment, including harpoons, spearguns, and crossbows for underwater fishing, as well as gear for acrobats.
