Our environmental commitments

Our commitment to the environment is illustrated by concrete and continuous actions aimed at reducing our ecological footprint while supporting local economic and social development.

Concrete actions to protect the environment

Based for nearly 100 years in the Loire region, the birthplace of the textile industry in France, we have witnessed the evolution of our work and our savoir-faire in line with technological advance, environmental concerns, and consumer expectations.

We have implemented several initiatives to reduce our environmental impact and promote the sustainability of our production. For example, we have set up a system to collect textile waste, foster a circular economy and reduce the amount of waste we produced. The fabrics are then used by students for artistic projects, as well as by local companies and associations.

We have also taken actions to reduce our energy consumption :

The use of heating and lighting systems is optimised, contributing to the fight against climate change.

We are proud to say that 80% of our energy consumption comes from solar energy. This initiative helps us reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and decrease our gas emissions.

We have taken significant measures to reduce CO2 emissions from our vehicle fleet. Currently, half of our vehicles are electric, and we aim to increase this proportion in the coming years.

Sustainability though innovation

Our R&D department develops more sustainable products for industries such as automotive, aerospace, and railway.

We invest in the research and development of innovative composite-based products, which offer advantages in terms of lightness, durability, and performance.

We also test innovative materials such as biodegradable fibres, recycled materials, and Kevlar to design eco-friendly textile solutions.

A rewarded approach

For 10 years now, we have been working with Ecovadis to assess and improve sustainable practices within our company. Ecovadis assessments focus on 4 main themes:

  • Environment
  • Ethical
  • Social and Human Rights
  • Responsible Purchasing

Ecovadis audits are part of our continuous improvement process. We have put in place an ambitious action plan to improve our score in the coming years, by rigorously following the audit recommendations.
