Aesthetic and practical interiors
Consumer expectations have evolved. Today, a car’s interior design is just as important as its exterior appearance. Comfort, practicality and aesthetics are just some of the requirements that a vehicle’s interior must meet.
Vehicle interior nets
Nets are a crucial component of a vehicle’s interior equipment. They can be installed in various locations within the cabin. Nets are commonly found in the console or door pockets, behind the seats (pockets), at the bottom of the trunk, and even near the floor, like the footwell net located next to the gear stick.
They often consist of a metal or plastic frame, and can also be found in car trunks and roofs.

- Boot floor nets
- Envelope storage nets
- Roof rack nets
These nets provide extra storage space, keeping personal items close at hand. In the trunk, they are particularly useful for holding items in place, preventing them from shifting and being damaged during the journey.
Straps for cars
Less visible than the nets in the cabin but just as essential for passenger comfort and safety, straps play a key role.
Various types of straps are used in cars, designed directly with the manufacturer or equipment supplier. Depending on the final use, the choice of materials includes:
Retention straps
Airbag retention straps, hatchback or pocket retention straps
Holding straps
Elastic straps for holding or tensioning objects: bottle, puncture-proof spray, warning triangle, spare wheel, jack attachment…
Handle straps
Straps are used to ensure that the handles work properly: door handle straps or boot / tailgate handles.
Straps for car seats
Eurosandow manufactures a wide range of straps for the automotive industry.
Seat belts can be specially designed for trucks, coaches or any other machine with at least one driver’s seat (crane, tractor).
Outside the passenger compartment, straps can also be used as exhaust suspension travel limiters (exhaust suspension travel limiters), as car battery holders or car battery clips, and on the radiator grille.
Seat manoeuvring straps
Seat upholstery webbing
Tubular webbing for seat covers
Car seat manoeuvring straps, which are used to operate modular seats (sliding, tilting, folding, etc.) include pull-down straps for side and middle seat sections and lifting straps. Seat release straps serve to keep the forward-backward movement of a seat within the authorised limits.
Seat upholstery webbing holds seat upholstery in place and is usually woven, tubular and notched.
Tubular webbing for attaching seat covers to car seats or tunnel band for seats with a perfect finish.
This type of webbing is mainly elastic to give a tightening effect on the seats.
Cords for vehicle interior
Particularly hard-used on a daily basis, boot lift cords, rear shelf cords and shelf travel-limiting cords are designed to withstand frequent use and repeated movements, without the risk of breaking.
Eurosandow is also a supplier of the stringing cords required for the assembly of upholstered car seats, as well as elastic cords, tension cords and fastening cords for seat nets and accessories.
