Weaving of webbing and nets
Weaving is much more than a simple manufacturing process; it is an art that we have mastered and perfected over the years.
This process allows us to create strong, rigid, and elastic straps. Weaving produces webbing by interlacing two series of threads: the longitudinal warp threads which are stationary and the weft which is drawn over-and-under the warp.
Our expertise in weaving enables us to transform high-quality fibres into robust and innovative products, meeting our customers’ requirements.
With our experience combined to our commitment for excellence, we bring all your projects to life, no matter their complexity.
Weaving of webbing
With our 12 weaving looms and two heat-setting machines, we are able to manufacturing straps made of various materials such as polypropylene, polyester, cotton, polyamide, Kevlar, aramid, fibreglass, etc. Our machines can produce complex weaves with different widths and thicknesses, to meet the various needs of demanding industries.
The products made in our factories are used in many applications, providing reliable and durable solutions for various industries.
This allows us to design technical webbing to meet precise specifications. Our expertise in weaving, for example, has led us to create the webbing that makes up cargo nets for air freight.
The products woven in our factories are used in a wide range of applications, offering reliable and sustainable solutions for a variety of industries.
Applications
Automotive
In the automotive industry, weaving is frequently used to manufacture seat maneuvering straps, allowing seat modularity (movement, tilt, articulation, or folding), seat padding straps ensuring seat stability, and seat release straps guiding the fore-aft movement of the seat within the permitted limits.
Aeronautic
Tubular fastening straps are also used in the cabin to hold different items of equipment used by cabin crew in place: service trolleys, emergency medical kit, etc.
Railway
Woven webbings can also be used for seats on trains, including upholstery webbings and webbings used as breast pockets on the back of seats.
